President’s International Scholarship for Nigerians: City, University of London (UK) 2018 – 2019



City, University of London is situated in the “heart” of London in the United Kingdom. The University is centrally situated close to numerous Underground stations and has easy access to the British Library, not to mention it is within walking distance from the Square Mile (the financial district in London).

The University is made up of five major faculties:

  • The City Law School (which includes: undergraduate and postgraduate Law, research degrees, professional legal qualifications and continuing professional development)
  • The Cass Business School (which includes: Finance, Management and Actuarial Science & Insurance)
  • The School of Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering (which includes: Mathematics, Library & Information Science, Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics and Civil Engineering)
  • The School of Health Sciences (which includes: Nursing, Health Services Research & Management, Optometry & Visual Sciences, Midwifery & Radiography and Language & Communication Science)
  • The School of Arts & Social Sciences (which includes: Music, Journalism, Language Studies, International Politics, Economics, Sociology and Psychology)



The President’s Scholarship was previously known as the “Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship”. The scholarship will be awarded to the value of £2,000 per annum (approximately 770,000 Nigerian Naira) to help international students pay for their undergraduate tuition fees, for a maximum duration of 3 years.

Please ensure that you meet these minimum entry criteria before applying:

  • International fee paying student (non-UK/ non-EU)
  • Studying towards your ‘A’ Levels or your International Baccalaureate
  • Achieved a minimum of AAA for your ‘A’ levels OR achieved a minimum of IB 35 for your International Baccalaureate – with exception of the following:
    • Cass Business School students: achieved a minimum of A*AA for your ‘A’ Levels OR achieved a minimum of IB 38 for your International Baccalaureate
    • Cass Business School Actuarial Science students: achieved a minimum of A*A*A for your ‘A’ levels OR achieved a minimum of IB 39 for your International Baccalaureate
    • Schools of Arts and Social Sciences Journalism students: achieved a minimum of A*AA for your ‘A’ levels OR achieved a minimum of IB 38 for your International Baccalaureate
  • Will be studying your 1st year of undergraduate course in 2018/ 2019
  • Received and accepted an offer from the City, University of London (as your first choice)
  • Read and agreed to the Scholarship Terms and Conditions (



Students who meet the eligibility criteria will be contacted directly by the University and invited to register for the scholarship award.
