International Undergraduate Scholarships at University of Westminster (UK) 2018 – 2019

 

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

The University of Westminster was founded in 1838 as a public university based in the area of London, within the UK. The University have campuses in Cavendish, Regent Street, Marylebone, Harrow, Little Titchfield Street and Wells Street.

The faculties of the University include the Business School; School of Media, Arts and Design; Law School; Faculty of Science and Technology; Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
 

ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

The University of Westminster have several International Scholarship opportunities, here are a few:

  • Westminster Full International Scholarship: the award will cover full tuition fees, living expenses, accommodation and return flights to London.
  • Westminster full-fee Scholarship: the award will cover full tuition fees only.
  • Westminster half-fee Scholarship: the award will cover half tuition fees only.
  • Westminster 175 Scholarships: the award will cover half tuition fees only.
  • Education for All Scholarship: the award will cover full tuition fees for up to 3 years of study.

ELIGIBILITY

Please ensure that you meet these minimum entry criteria before applying:
Westminster Full International Scholarship:

  • International student from one of the developing countries (middle income countries) – ie NOT from one of the following countries: USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, France, Greece, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Belgium, Portugal, Finland, Luxembourg, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Latvia, Cyprus, Croatia, Slovakia, Gibraltar, Czech Republic, Romania, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Estonia, Malta, Iceland, San Marino, Andorra, Vatican City, Israel, Singapore, Japan
  • Received an offer to study at the University towards a full-time undergraduate degree
  • Proven financial need
  • Proven excellent academic results
  • Proven development potential

Westminster full-fee Scholarship:

  • International student
  • NOT a national of the EU or UK
  • Received an offer to study at the University towards a full-time undergraduate degree
  • Proven financial need
  • Proven excellent academic results

Westminster half-fee Scholarship:

  • International student
  • Received an offer to study at the University towards a full-time undergraduate degree
  • Proven financial need
  • Proven excellent academic results

Westminster 175 Scholarships:

  • International student
  • From one of the following countries: Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, USA, Canada, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Colombia, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand
  • Received an offer to study at the University towards a full-time undergraduate degree
  • Proven financial need
  • Proven excellent academic results

Education for All Scholarship:

  • Living within the UK
  • Been granted Discretionary Leave to Remain (DLR) by the Home Office
  • Under 25 years old when commencing your degree studies
  • Received an offer to study at the University towards a full-time undergraduate degree
  • Proven financial need
  • Proven excellent academic results

 

HOW TO APPLY

Download the International Undergraduate Scholarship Application Form (.docx)

Attach copies of the following supporting documentation to your application form:

  • Confirmation from University of Westminster of your conditional or unconditional offer (letter or email) to study in your selected course
  • Recent academic transcript from your educational institution (in English)
  • Letter of reference/ recommendation (from a previous professor/ tutor/ academic/ employer)
  • Optional: one document to support your application (such as a second reference letter or your CV)
